New wiring harness, upgraded ignition, I replaced the infamous Lucas "Prince of Darkness" voltage rectifier, Petronics electronic ignition upgrade. Brand new correct chrome rims from England laced with stainless steel spokes and new Dunlop correct tires. new coils, I have replaced all cables and bike has new brake shoes. After three years and countless dollars, this beautiful custom motorcycle came to fruition. I purchased the parts and pieces years ago, and after a three year build, It's everything I could have hoped for and more. The frame is a 1966 Norton Atlas slimline featherbed frame. The engine is a 1979 Triumph Bonneville T140E 750cc unit motor that has been completely gone through top to bottom. The front end, Tokico calipers, and wheels are early GSX-R, the first year of inverted forks. The rear brake caliper and disc is R6 while the rear Brembo master cylinder is Ducati. The petrol tank, oil tank, and seat pan are aluminum, hand made in England by Unity Equipe. The front fender is also hand made, all aluminum by a local craftsman. The rear swing arm is believed to be Dresda. Most of the fabrication work was performed by Kosman Specialties in CA with no expense spared. The carburetors and electrical system, including harness is all new. There is way too much detail to list in this ad. I have owned many British bikes in my life but this is the easiest to start and the clutch feels butter smooth. This Triton won first place in the cafe racer class at the Clubman Show in San Jose. While it was there, it was invited to the prestigious Quail Motorsports Gathering in Monterrey, CA. If you are serious about purchasing this bike, feel free to ask questions, if not, save us both some time. It holds a clean CA title and is registered as a 1966 Norton. The engine number on the title and engine is T140EKA12607. She starts first or second kick every time. I am willing to assist in shipping this bike wherever needed. 1960 Vintage Triumph Bonneville Drag Bike A great vintage drag bike but could easily be built into a bike to run at El Mirage or the Bonneville Salt Flats Here is a very cool vintage Triumph Drag Bike built in the 1960's. It is unique in every way. The frame is built of square tubing with a built in oil tank and a hand fabricated aluminum fuel tank. I have NO history on this motorcycle at all. I bought it as a rolling chassis and at the time it had an old original 18" Avon drag slick on it. I replaced the tire with a new M&H Drag Slick. The transmission should be gone through and has a broken clutch adjustment cable lug (I have the broken piece). The engine was built by a builder in Bakersfield, CA and has original T120 cases and an original tachometer drive side cover . It is missing the drive piece for the tachometer that bolts to the inner gear.It was built as follows and has not been run : Original 1960 Bonneville Triumph cases : Nine bolt top end with Bonneville 9 bolt head : Racing valves and springs : High compression 9.5:1 piston set up : One piece crank w/new bearings and re-grind : Polished con rods : High lift race cams : Balanced and lightened crank set up It has a BTH magneto with a fixed timing gear, I know it is hot but don't know the history. Needs to be timed I was told the front end was rebuilt with new tubes and it looks right. Things I know need to be done: Needs carburetors and manifolds I made a plate that fits between the frame rails widen the frame so the rear wheel can be centered. Needs to be welded. The rear brake plate fit a slot in the frame but I would highly advise setting up the brake with a traditional real stay bar. The motorcycle received an inline 1050cc “triple”, installed on the latest generation of Speed Triple, an electronic “throttle”, a multi-level traction control, cruise control, ABS and a slipper clutch. There is no full specification yet, but it is known that the motorcycle will be produced in two color options: silver and black.

According to the manufacturer, the engine control unit of some motorcycles may malfunction, due to which one of the fuel injectors will inject additional fuel into the engine cylinder. As a result, the engine will either not start or stall during operation due to excessive re-enrichment of the combustible mixture.

The both the Tiger 800XC and the less adventure-worthy Tiger 800 will see two new variants, with the Tiger 800 likely being rebranded as the Tiger 800XR. A newly-published executive order from the California Air Resources Board reveals the names for four new Tiger 800 variants known as the XCA (likely standing for XC Adventure), XCX, XRT (or XR Touring) and XRX.
