2001 Triumph Bonneville 790cc. 10,044 miles. Clear title (California). Registration paid through February 10, 2017. Included: Black leather panniers kit ($400 value; assembly required), Haynes Service & Repair book ($65 value), and owner's manual. This has been a fun bike. Selling because wife and I will be retiring and are starting process of downsizing. It's time to clear out my garage "toys". This "new"Bonneville, reintroduced by the new Triumph company in November 2000, shares the name, engine configuration and style of the "old" Bonneville T120 and T140, but that is about all it shares. The new Bonneville maintains the styling and character of the popular old models but infuses the bike with modern technology including a 790cc parallel twin air and oil-cooled engine. A 360-degree crank means the pistons rise and fell simultaneously, but are set to fire on alternate strokes. Twin balancer shafts run off a gear on the right-hand end of the crankshaft to eliminate most of the vibration, while leaving enough to provide essential character. A central cam chain drives the double overhead camshafts actuating four valves per cylinder. 2014 Triumph Thunderbird Commander, Thunderbird LT Models Outted in CARB Documents
Tue, 15 Oct 2013An executive order released by the California Air Resources Board reveals two new additions to the Triumph Thunderbird cruiser lineup. Joining the base Thunderbird and the Thunderbird Storm (both of which have already received CARB certification for 2014) are two new versions, the Thunderbird LT and the Thunderbird Commander. According to the executive order, both new T-birds will be powered by a 1700cc engine designated as the ETDXC1.70KMM, the same engine family designation assigned to the parallel-twin engine powering the Thunderbird Storm.

Tue, 02 Feb 2016Triumph has unveiled a new product called the Tiger Sport. The motorcycle received an inline 1050cc “triple”, installed on the latest generation of Speed Triple, an electronic “throttle”, a multi-level traction control, cruise control, ABS and a slipper clutch. There is no full specification yet, but it is known that the motorcycle will be produced in two color options: silver and black.
