Triumph Bonneville description

Hi ! Just got this in . Good clean basket case bonneville T120R . As you probably know the bonneville is a blast to ride and the numbers are matching and what is there is all good and straight . We are seeing 650 triumphs at $10-$15-$20.000 all the time now so at last it makes sense to restore them and with this one being a 1965 all the more reason ! The motor is all in the case . Trany - crank - cams ect and the crank spins nice and free . You will need to go to the swap meet to get some bits and pieces but that's half the fun right ? The old girl comes with a clean California title and a nice original black license plate so no DMV bullshit to deal with ! I can ship all over the USA and the world ar real good rates and help in any way I can. Good luck

Speed Triple exhausts

Mon, 19 Apr 2010

The Speed Triple sounds quite throaty with the standard pipes, on the overrun it pops and farts to its heart content but it could be louder. Also standard pipes are usually quite heavy, on the Triple they weigh 9.3kg!!! Triumphs preferred exhaust manufacture is Arrow and they offer side and under seat options as official Triumph accessories.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 - Factory Kit version

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Factory is the motorcycle world's equivalent of 'legend': it's a word that gets thrown around so much it loses its meaning. However, this Factory Race Kit Daytona 675 justifies the 'factory' tag. It's the kit developed by Triumph for race teams who want a quick step up to the maximum amount of performance a Daytona 675 can offer.
