    Honda has a way of being, ahead of there times, so it was in the late 80's when Honda built the Transalp.  There was no category for Adventure Bikes at the time,  In the original brochure, Adventure was used 6 times, but not in the name.  This bike is all original and well maintained, with oil changes ever 2000 mile, recent battery, chain, sprockets, center stand and 14inch National windshield.

    The original motor was replaced with a Lifan 200cc (Model: 163FML-2) with electric start and has about 3k miles on the engine. The engine comes with a kick starter and oil level sight for easy checking. The engine was given the MotoMan BreakIn plus the oil has been changed every 1k miles.  Included with the NX is two sets of wheels and tires including axles, brake hubs/shoes plus an additional chain and front sprocket to the different sets.

    A fantastic bike that runs perfectly with a brand new battery.  These bikes were designed to go 150,000 miles before any major work will be needed.  Selling it because I have two and don't want to ship one to CA where I now live.  I drive mine 20 miles each way to work and love it.  This is a great touring bike with a large trunk that can hold 4 bags of groceries.  Some minor scratches that would be expected on a 27 year old bike.  A Pacific Coast full face helmet (with some scratches from falling off the bike) goes with it in case the buyer doesn't have a helmet.  This model was in the Back to the Future 2 movie for 1-2 seconds when Marty McFly went to the year 2015.
