1979 CBX HONDA 6 CYLINDER GREAT CONDITION Good running and clean CBX. New professional paint with all stripes and decals in the right place and painted candy glory red as it was when new. New exhaust, new alternator seals, good tires, carbs. cleaned and rebuilt with viton orings, front master cylinder rebuilt with new reservoir, all electrical connections were cleaned and put dielectric grease on them, no oil leaks and fresh oil change. Fork oil changed, 21,700 on the clock, This bike is ready for the road. Will assist with shipping here in the US or overseas as well at the new owners expense. $200 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT at end of auction. 2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
