***ADULT RIDDEN*** TITLE IN HAND I bought this bike in LA a few years back (Im the 2nd owner) from Hollywood Cycles on a whim. The bike had i believe 1500 miles on it with some real nice upgrades... It was traded in by an actor who is on the show "The Mentalist", Im only saying that because he was an adult as well that never road this bike. I and the bike have since been relocated in Fl where now the bike awaits its freedom! Meticulously maintained and cared for! NOT 1 mile on fresh oil change (I start it once a week) Changed after getting back from Leesburg '4/16 NEVER raced, hot rodded, wheelied, endoed or dumped! Still has OEM front and rear tires which are still very fresh THIS BIKE WILL NOT DISSAPOINT!!!!! 2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 Dual Sports Announced
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha unveiled a pair of 2012 dual sport models, the Yamaha XT250 and the Yamaha TW200. Both the 2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 remain unchanged from the 2011 versions except for a new white and blue color scheme and white front fenders instead of last year’s black fenders. The XT250 is powered by an air-cooled 249cc four-stroke engine with a 33mm carburetor.
Yamaha Reports Q2 2012 Results
Thu, 09 Aug 2012Yamaha has lowered its 2012 year-end sales forecast by 14.3% after reporting disappointing first half results. The Japanese manufacturer reported a profit of 14.5 billion yen (US$184.3 million), a 49.8% decrease from a profit of 29 billion yen reported in the first half of 2011. According to the company’s financial report for the quarter ended June 30, 2012, Yamaha‘s net sales totaled 632.2 billion yen (US$8.04 billion), a 4.6% decrease from net sales of 663.1 billion yen reported in the same quarter of 2011.
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
