2005 Yamaha R1. Great condition. Motor was rebuilt by a professional. Brand new stator,rectifier,flywheel, spark plugs. Installed a brand new clutch that has 50 miles on it. Custom r1 blue grips with racing clutch levers. Yoshimura Full Dual Exhaust system that sounds amazing. You won't be disappointed in the sound. Power Commander that has been installed by a professional and tuned to run excellent and also gets better gas mileage. The dash computer is in perfect condition and will be a great fit for somebody wanting a quality sports bike for summer. I just don't have the time to ride anymore. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

Yamaha M1 Engines Available for Leasing for 2014-2016 MotoGP Seasons
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Yamaha announced it will offer a leasing arrangement for its YZR-M1 engines to teams interested in racing in the MotoGP World Championship. The Japanese manufacturer has signed a leasing arrangement with MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports to supply engines for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons. Racing teams will be able to lease a Yamaha M1 engine on a per-year basis for their own race bikes.
