1979 Triumph Bonneville Special 750cc 5speed. Beautiful bike, runs and sounds great, I am the second owner. Original, not restored, just regular maintenance over the years. I recently had the following maintenance done to the bike by Wes Scott Cycles here in Fort Lauderdale; New Avon tires front and rear. Front and rear brakes calipers and master cylinders rebuilt, new brake hoses, new brake pads Carbs rebuilt New Dunstall style muffler installed, original muffler included New fork boots and fork seals New foot peg rubbers New battery Many more receipts from the original owner covering regular maintenance over the years... Recall for 2010 Triumph Thunderbird
Mon, 16 May 2011Triumph Motorcycles is starting a recall campaign on certain 2010 Thunderbird cruisers due to a problem with the front fender fasteners. On certain 2010 Triumph Thunderbirds, including some ABS-equipped units, the four screws on the front fender mounts may come loose. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the plating used on the fender mounting included friction modifiers which are not compatible with the thread lock compound used on the screws.

2013 Triumph Trophy SE Recalled in Canada for Potential Fuel Leak
Thu, 30 May 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 Triumph Trophy SE because of a potential fuel leak. As yet, no recall has been announced for the U.S., but we expect one to be announced shortly by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. According to Transport Canada, the fuel tanks on certain Trophy models may have been manufactured incorrectly and may leak fuel.
