Triumph Bonneville description

1977 Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee.

Mileage 15,443

This 1977 750cc T140J Bonneville Silver Jubilee with matching numbers is being sold by its second owner, who bought it in 1984 with 1,000 miles on it. The remaining 14,443 miles are nearly all touring miles.

The 1977 Triumph Bonneville is an amazing motorcycle this one in particular is in amazing condition and could be back in excellent condition with very little effort. The bike does not have any problems starting and always fires within 1 or 2 kicks. It has never been in an accident and has been taken car of meticulousness by Southwest Cycle in Albuquerque New Mexico. It is a rare breed of bike as there was one 1,000 sold here in the United States and 1,000 available in the UK.

The motorcycle comes equipped with a rare factory-approved Craven fiberglass pannier system that is functional. The bags latch but the key was lost long ago. The bags are attached to the black powder-coated metal Craven frame with two rubber-insulated hooks on the top and a Dzu nut on the bottom that allows for secure attachment while riding and quick removal when not.The Craven frame includes a rear deck that I've used while touring to secure a duffle bag and tent with bungee cords.

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 - Factory Kit version

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Factory is the motorcycle world's equivalent of 'legend': it's a word that gets thrown around so much it loses its meaning. However, this Factory Race Kit Daytona 675 justifies the 'factory' tag. It's the kit developed by Triumph for race teams who want a quick step up to the maximum amount of performance a Daytona 675 can offer.

This Used to be a Triumph Daytona 675 Race Bike [Video]

Thu, 29 Sep 2011

Crashes occur fairly often during motorcycle races but rarely do we see a race bike get as spectacularly demolished as this Triumph Daytona 675. The crash took place during the Sept.  11 Donington Park round of the Triumph Triple Challenge, a support class in the British Superbike series featuring the Triumph Daytona 675. Rider Ash Beech low sides going into a corner and thankfully slides relatively safely into the grass.

Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.
