Bought this bike early this summer to fix up and enjoy! It has a lot of new parts including new tires, fork seals, battery, carbs cleaned and adjusted by my local Suzuki dealer, air cleaners, backrest has been recovered, oil has been changes recently and new spark plugs. I have spent most of my time cleaning and painting a few of the small parts and I think it looks good! It has a few dings and scratches, but for a 38 year old bike its in pretty good condition.
I bought it from a friend of the original owner, so I am almost the second owner. It runs and rides really nice. So if your looking for an older bike that you can buy and enjoy without financing let me know? Thanks for looking! |

Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Yoshimura Suzuki Signs Martin Cardenas to Race AMA Superbike Championship
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas has signed on to race in the AMA Superbike class for Yoshimura Suzuki. The move was rumored to be in the works for quite some time now, especially following Cardenas’ release from the final year of his contract with his former employer Team Hammer. Cardenas will return to the Superbike class this season, riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 alongside teammate Chris Clark.
Suzuki Confirms MotoGP Departure – Hope of 2014 Return
Fri, 18 Nov 2011As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.
