Kawasaki KZ550 description

1983 Kawasaki KZ550

1983 Kawasaki KZ550, one owner, bought it new. Original paint, dual disc front brake, Progressive Suspension front fork springs & rear shocks. It has a Marushin fiberglass fairing and steel braded hydraulic brake line to match the low bars. The bike has a new front tire and battery. There is a Lockhart Oil Cooler with steel braded lines. There is a security cable hidden in the frame tubing. There is a owners manual and a factory shop manual.
There are no oil or gas leaks. The bike starts immediately and idles fine. It revs out in all six gears.
The exhaust head pipes have never blued. The inside of the tank is not rusted.
All the lights work. At 50,000 miles we replaced the cam chain. The bike has a manual cam chain adjuster. There is a scratch on the left side of the tank, the decals are fading. There is a dent on the left exhaust where the side stand rubber meets it.
