2005 Kawasaki KZ1000 Police Motorcycle. Bike was originally purchased from a Dallas PD auction then sold on eBay where I purchased it.
I used the motorcycle in a motorcycle escort business; escorting funerals, motorcycle event escorts and other details. All lights are in working order. Warning lights are amber to the front and amber / red to the sides and rear. Warning lights can be programmed as flash, steady on, synchronized flash, or Wig-Wag. Siren is a 100w electric air horn only. Bike runs and drives excellent. There will be auctions for the other two bikes pictured in the photo. All are set up the same. I simply don't have the time to run the business and need the space more than i need the bikes. Questions, feel free to call three 15 four 8 one 03 one one. With events on both Friday and Saturday, there are plenty of chances for glory for the 48 competitors entered. AMA Pro SuperSport is the most unpredictable class and the racing gives a chance for riders in the large fields to step up and prove they have what it takes. A great example is reigning AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Champion and current SuperBike pilot Cameron Beaubier, who cut his teeth in his two-victory, two-pole season in 2010.
Kawasaki Recalls 20,512 Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on 2008-2011 Ninja ZX-10R and the 2009-2012 Ninja ZX-6R sportbikes due to a defect affecting the batteries. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator/rectifier on affected units may not sufficiently charge the battery. As a result, the battery may unexpectedly be fully discharged, causing the engine to stall.

Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.
