This is a KZ1000. I bought this with a few other bikes and I am selling it as a project bike.
I'm not into the big inline 4 cyl. bikes. It has a lot of chrome, extended swing arm, triple tree, forks, all 3 - 4 piston calipers, rims. new Bridgestone Battlax tire 190/50ZR17 in the rear and 120/60/ZR17 Avon in the front. The paint looks nice and was panted by a professional not a rattle can job. Inside of the tank is clean. I do not know anything about the motor except it looks clean and has oil in it, no leaks. Overall looks like it was in the last stage of being completed. Being sold "AS IS" It has more good parts then what I am asking for it. A $500.00 non-refundable Pay Pal deposit is required within 48 hrs. Balance within 7 days via certified bank check or wire transfer. Absolutely NO Pay Pal for the balance. Isle of Man TT 2014: Bikenation Lightweight TT Results
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Dean Harrison won his first Isle of Man TT race, taking the three-lap Bikenation Lightweight TT by 14.6 seconds. Harrison took the lead early, having the fastest time through Glen Helen ahead of last year’s Lightweight TT winner James Hillier by about half a second. Harrison stretched the lead to 9.7 seconds by the end of the first lap.
Steam Punk Bike
Wed, 19 Jan 2011This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.
2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.
