Kawasaki KLR tech info
Kawasaki KLR description
Bought this brand new klr650 for my 23 year old son this past June to do an adventure tour. He has no interest. Bike still has remaining full factory warrantee till June 2017.
Comes with lowering kit which can be returned to stock with two bolts and shown stock links. Comes with stock stand and lowering kit side stand. Bark busters, full aftermarket metal skid plate and aftermarket recessed oil drain bolt. Tusk frame mounted engine/side guards. After market large number dash mounted clock. Oil has been changed but the 500 mile service has not been done as it only had 310 miles. I did quite a bit of research before buying and this is the entry level adventure touring bike of choice. Lots of torque and handles well on the street. Many aftermarket add ons available and they are very durable machines. Bike is factory perfect. Essentially brand new. I have over 7000.00 in the bike. Bidding begins at $5000.00 with no reserve. If you ever wanted to buy a new bike due to someone's buyers remorse, this is your chance. Of course always garaged. Hope it goes to someone who will enjoy it. Never got to take it off road and have never washed it once. Still clean from dealer. Nick 973-600-6554 cell |

Randy de Puniet's custom W650
Fri, 16 Dec 2011MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.
