Honda Valkyrie description

97 HONDA VALKYRIE ~~LADY RIDDEN~~ custom paint jobThe only thing this bike needs is a rider. Bike is Black and Chrome. Tons of extras. If it could be added, chances are... it WAS!Has been lowered for me as I'm only 5'2", Cobra six into 6 Stainless Pipes for that unique Valkyrie Sound, hard shell saddle bags (I also have the original leather ones that have Valkyrie embossed into the leather), Driver and passenger backrests, luggage rack, driver floorboards, new tires, wind reflectors (awesome for cool weather riding), custom radiator guard, fender tips, chrome horn cover, throttle boss "crusie control", new battery, chrome license plate cover, you wouldn't believe the "chrome" this thing has on it. Never afraid to ride it. Has been from Tennessee to Florida to California to North Carolina and to Tennessee again. Transmission and engine rebuilt in 2010 due to my dumb ass thinking I did not have to use the clutch to shift it. Need to find someone else to appreciate it as I have medical issues now and can not ride. If you have ANY questions, please feel free to contact me. I will gladly take additional photos if you want them! Feel free to email me at yahoo... im2knk4u or call SEVENthree1THREEsix3ZEROthree3EIGHT. Webb Wins Salt Lake City EnduroCross

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

From an EnduroCross press release: Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb took a decisive win tonight in Salt Lake City’s inaugural AMA GEICO EnduroCross event. The win was Webb’s second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.

How about Edwards at Repsol Honda?

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.

Honda’s V-4 History

Tue, 06 Oct 2009

As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!
