I am selling my 2011 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight. I am a private seller, clean/clear title in hand. The bike currently has 5,222 miles on the odometer (mileage may go up slightly as I ride the bike on nice days).
This bike has NEVER been dropped or laid down while in my possession. It has been well kept, and parked in a heated garage. Modifications: -Dynojet Power Vision, Black Series (Stage 1 tune for exhaust/AC) -Vance & Hines Shortshots (secured with aircraft/racing nuts and new Screamin' Eagle exhaust port gaskets) -Vance & Hines Quiet Baffles (stock VH baffles included as well) -Black Bobber Hi-Flow Air Cleaner -2014 HD Forty-Eight Gas Tank, Morocco Gold Pearl -1.5" Tank Lift and Wire Tuck -Ignition and Coil Relocation (new plugs and plug wires) -RAM Motorcycle Mount (for tuner, only the ball remains on handlebar clamp, tuner easily removable) -Carroll Leather Fork Pouch -HD Smoked Front Turn Signal Covers (signals relocated to lower tree) -HD Iron Timer Cover -Wrinkle Black Derby Cover -Wrinkle Black Inspection Cover Some more details on mods in the notes at the bottom. Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
New Indian Commercial Pokes Fun At Harley-Davidson

Earlier this year, parent company Polaris unveiled the all-new Thunderstroke 111 engine as a sneak peak to the 2014 Chief which is set to make its official debut at Sturgis at the beginning of August. To prepare for this momentous occasion, Indian produced this commercial, which takes a nice, healthy jab at the iconic Motor Company.
Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
