Harley-Davidson Sportster description

2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 883XL, Brilliant Silver, 8,943 miles odometer reading, newly inspected, clean and clear title, brand new battery, ready to ride. It has the oil reservoir cover painted to match the fenders, forward controls, a two-up seat, sissy bar with pad, luggage rack, brush guards (with a few scratches), Saddleman saddlebags, larger mirrors. The BG3 exhaust pipes enhance the true Harley rumble. The smaller mirrors, flat designer air filter cover, motorcycle dust cover, owner's manual, and a medium adult, silver modular Hawk helmet with flip down visor go with the motorcycle. This Harley runs like a top, is well balanced, gets approximately 50 mpg. As much as I hate to part with it, I had to accept that my riding days are over due to medical problems.  The previous owner used this Harley for show (and placed a few times with it).

This beauty is ready for a short or long ride to its new home.  Contact me with your contact information so we can schedule a test ride!

Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

Tue, 17 May 2011

Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says  Jeffrey I.

Easy Rider 40th Anniversary

Tue, 27 Oct 2009

Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary.  The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
