Purchased from and always maintained by BMW of Manhattan. This bike has always been garaged and coddled and that is why this ten year old bike looks practically new and runs flawlessly. BMW Set Single Month Sales Record in April 2013 – New R1200GS Represents 27.7% of Sales Volume
Mon, 13 May 2013BMW announced it set a new company all-time sales record for a single month, delivering 14,587 motorcycles to customers in April 2013. That represents an 11.5% increase from the 13,088 motorcycles sold in April 2012. The record month helped push BMW‘s overall sales over the first four months to 39,319 motorcycles and scooters, a 5.0% increase from the 13,088 units sold in the same period of 2012.
2014 BMW R nineT Production Begins
Tue, 03 Dec 2013The first production models of the BMW R nineT roadster have rolled off the assembly line in Berlin. The R nineT is a special model for BMW, representing the company’s 90 years in the motorcycle industry, so it’s no surprise the start of production was made with much fanfare. BMW invited 100 guests including the team from German customization studio Urban Motor to watch assembly of the first three units of the R nineT including the final dynamometer testing where more than 1,000 different parameters are measured before a motorcycle can be released.
BMW Motorcycle Festival At Big Bear, Sep. 19-21

World traveler and author Glen Heggstad will be featured Saturday night with his exciting tales of danger, beauty and people riding a BMW through more than 50 countries.
