Suzuki Other tech info
Suzuki Other description
Here's a 1973 Suzuki TC100 Blazer with only 3230 actual miles in Gypsy Red. I bought it about a year ago with sun faded bodywork and a seat with tears in it and the original Dunlop trails tires. All the bodywork as been upgraded with good used parts from fellow eBayers. The tank has one shallow dent near the gas cap on top that is hard to see and a slight crease about 2 inches long on the left front. The seat was recovered in the original pattern with a SUZUKI logo on it. It has been completely gone through by my local vintage bike mechanic and starts on the first or second kick. I also installed a new battery, new Dual Sport tires and tubes, and installed the luggage rack that was missing when I got it. I'm including some parts that I have not had the time to install as yet. See the photos showing a better pair of fork covers or headlight ears, a better chrome headlight bucket, new fork dust cups, a new carb cover gasket and a SUZUKI decal that goes on the carb cover. The chrome fenders cleaned up well and are the 43 year old originals. This bike has what Suzuki called CCI or an oil injection system with a oil tank so no need to pre-mix the gas with 2 stroke oil. It also has a Hi-Lo 4 speed transmission that allows you to change gears by just turning a lever on the left side engine cover. Ebay does NOT have a Bill of Sale category so I had to choose Clear. I did check with the DMV and it is not in the system. I will provide a Bill of Sale and will assist the buyer's shipper for pickup. I highly recommend using uship.com. The bike is being sold 'AS-IS' with no warranties expressed or implied. This bike is available for sale locally so it may sell before this auction ends and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. |

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful
Wed, 11 May 2011Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.
EICMA 2008: First Impressions
Mon, 03 Nov 2008I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
