I've owned this 2007 Suzuki Burgman 650 (not the executive model) for a year and a half and I bought it from the original owner who owned it since new. It has been garaged its whole life and is an exceptional bike! Never dropped and in really good condition. Current mileage is around 17,120. Doctor says I have to sell it due to health problems, so it needs to find a new home. It has a clear title.
Upgrades include: 1. HUGE Givi topbox $500.00 2. Admore Lighting brake/tail/turn LED kit for box $100.00 3. Race Tech gold front cartridge emulators and springs $400.00 4. Right glove box has air horn installed 5. Throttle lock/cruise control 6. Wired for heated gloves, battery tender, etc. 7. New front and rear tire within last 2000 miles I can deliver the bike within 500 miles of Atlanta for $250.00 or you can use a service like Uship to get it delivered. 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Recalled for Defective Drive Chain
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Suzuki Motor of America announced a recall on the 2014 V-Strom 650 ABS because of a problem with the drive chain. As of this writing, the recall campaign has not been posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect this to be done shortly. Meanwhile north of the border, a similar recall has been announced for the 2014 Suzuki GSX650FA by Transport Canada describing a similar problem.
2013 AMA Supercross Houston Race Report
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Ryan Villopoto captured his fifth-consecutive AMA Supercross win and sixth in seven rounds with a victory in the main event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider passed holeshot-taker Mike Alessi on the opening lap and led the rest of the way for the win. Alessi, riding the Motoconcepts Racing Suzuki RM-Z450, remained in the hunt for the first few laps but soon gave way to a group including Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard, Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey and Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart.
Arai Helmet Sponsoring Upcoming Superbike Shootout Race Weekends
Thu, 01 May 2014Arai Helmet has thrown its proverbial hat in the ring by signing up to sponsor the next two events of the new GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented by Yamaha. In addition, Arai has been named the official helmet of the series. The Arai Pacific Nationals will be hosted by the AFM next weekend, May 3-4, at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California.
