MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test

Preparations for the 2014 MotoGP Championship are well underway, with the first pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit complete. As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.

Ack Attack Streamliner Will Attempt To Break 400 MPH – Video

The Top 1 Oil Ack Attack streamliner motorcycle, currently the world’s fastest motorcycle with a top one-way speed of 394.084 mph and a world record speed of 376.4 mph, will attempt to set a new world record by topping the 400 mph barrier during Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout by VARTA Powersports, Sep. 12-16. Suzuki GSX-R1000 Sportbike Gets New VVT System

Suzuki has adopted the SR-VVT (Suzuki Racing Variable Valve Timing) system on the 2017 GSX-R1000. A centrifugal drive system is integrated into the intake gear and adjacent guide plate. It features 12 steel balls and slant grooves to rotate and synchronize the intake valve at a predetermined RPM for increased power at high RPMs.
