My uncle bought this bike brand new from the california norton dealer in 1974 it has always been garaged and maintained, he had over 40 motorcycles and is in failing health due to age, he asked me to sell a few bikes for him, i dont know everything about this bike but if you have a question i can find out, other than that this bike usually starts on 1 kick and is in awesome condition, the front brake doesnt work and it probly should have a carb rebuild as its been sitting most its life, but it runs great and is surprisingly fast. “The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday
Mon, 18 Aug 2014The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
11 Teams Still in Running to Enter MotoGP in 2012 Season
Thu, 19 May 2011The International Motorcycling Federation announced 11 teams have passed the latest round of applications for the 2012 MotoGP season. MotoGP promoter Dorna and the International Road Racing Teams Association selected 11 new teams representing 16 riders to continue with the application process for the 2012 season. Applicants submitted detailed plans for participation to the IRTA by May 14.
Norton Motorcycles Begins Shipping Units to US
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Norton Motorcycles has begun shipping its Commando 961 to American dealerships, marking the first delivery of new motorcycles from the brand to the U.S. in over 30 years. The shipped models are also some of the the first batch of motorcycles to roll out of Norton’s new Hastings House manufacturing facility.
