Norton Commando description
1975 Norton Commando 850. I bought it from the original owner. I have all of the original paperwork with the bike, the original bill of sale, books and title. It has 10, 217 mis. Paint is all original. Bike is in beautiful condition. I have not tried to start it, but it kicks over fine and goes into all of the gears. Bike was properly stored. Should not take much to get it running. It ran fine when put away. Always was stored inside. Chrome is excellent. You can see from the photos just how clean it is. Still has the original frame decals. The engine, VIN plate and gearbox, and the left fuel tank mount all have matching numbers. Frame number is 850-F112592. Vin number is 18 66. Tank is clean inside. I did not mount the exhaust back on, but the exhaust ports were always taped up so no dust would get in. I believe this bike was built in July 1974. Red is a hard color to find. If you are into Norton 850's, this would be a great bike for you. Hard to find with the original paint, paperwork, plus it is a one-owner.
