I BOUGHT THIS R6 IN DEC OF 2012, IN JULY THE 2ND GEAR WENT OUT, I BOUGHT A NEW TRANSMISSION FOR IT AND WAS GOING TO HAVE IT OVERHAULED, I BOUGHT A 2003 MOTOR AND ALL THE ELECTRONICS THAT WENT WITH IT, WATCHED THE MOTOR BENCH RUNNED, POWER COMMANDER 3 INCLUDED, THE MECHANIC I HAD WORK ON IT SCREWED THE WIRE HARNESS UP, SO I BOUGHT A NEW WIRE HARNESS, BUT AFTER A FEW TESTS FOUND OUT THE LEAN SENSOR AND THE HEADLIGHT RELAY, AND STARTER SWITCH WERE OUT, SHE POWERS UP NICE, BUT HAD TO CROSS THE SILINOID TO START IT, NOW IM STRAPPED AND NEED TO SELL HER TO A GOOD HOME, WE ARE PRICING TO SELL, I ALSO HAVE THE MANUAL DOWN LOADED, AND HAVE EXTRA RIMS AND BRAND NEW PERELLI DIABLO 2 TIRES, ALL ARE INCLUDED IN THE SALE. Yamaha TTX 115i Adventure Scooter Concept Unveiled in Thailand

The trendiest segment in the industry at the moment is the adventure touring motorcycle. Spearheaded by the top-selling BMW R1200GS, the segment has seen a flood of imitators such as the Triumph Tiger Explorer, Yamaha Super Ténéré and the Honda Crosstourer. A recent report from the Motorcycle Industry Council found that scooter sales are also on the rise in the U.S., spurred on by soaring gas prices.

The 2011 EICMA show in Milan is just a few weeks away and from what we’ve seen from the manufacturers so far, it looks like the prevailing theme this year is the maxi-scooter. Honda will present its 700cc dual clutch transmission Integra scooter at EICMA, BMW announced it will unveil two new maxi-scooters in Milan, and Aprilia is rebadging an 850cc V-Twin Gilera scooter as the SRV 850. And now Yamaha is jumping into the fray with an update to its popular TMax.

Pipe Werx, the British performance motorcycle exhaust company, has added a new product to its range – the Slash Cut Trim. Priced at only £79.95, delivered, the Slash Cut Trim easily bolts on with its supplied mounting clamp and spring to the catalytic converter in place of the heavy standard exit pipes on Yamaha’s R6 (2006-2011) and Suzuki’s GSX-R600/750 (K8, K9, L0). With the main aim of reducing weight and improving aesthetics on these machines, the Slash Cut Trim does give a marginal increase of throttle response and exhaust note.
