This beautiful Yamaha R-1 is a 1 owner bike. It has a Power Commander Ignition and a Graves Shorty pipe that has a throaty roar. This bike was set up professionally/dyno'd and boasts 154hp and 77fpt. With the bike comes 2 keys, owners manual, and dyno/mapping paperwork. This bike is not for the faint at heart! The bike has the LED hideaway front signals and the rear signals are LED's built into the brake light. In addition to the matching matte grey rear tail cover you will also get the factory seat. The bike was just serviced and has a brand new Michelin Pilot Power up front. The R-1 has the Moto-GP traction control system and the D-Mode electronic throttle response control. The powerplant is a fuel injected and liquid cooled in-line 4 cyl with a 6-speed tranny and chain drive. The front brakes offer dual disks and 6 piston calipers while the rear brakes are single disk with single caliper. Weight is 454 lbs wet. This bike contains both the "beauty and the beast." Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.
Lorenzo to Remain with Yamaha Through 2014 MotoGP Season
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Jorge Lorenzo has signed a contract extension with Yamaha that will see the 2010 MotoGP Champion riding the M1 through the 2014 season. Lorenzo currently leads the 2012 MotoGP Championship points chase with 115 points and is looking for his second premiere class title. Through five races this season, Lorenzo has three wins and a pair of second-place finishes, matching his pace from his championship-winning 2010 season.
