OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
