Features include: 998 cc liquid-cooled 20-valve DOHC fuel injected engine, 6-speed transmission, multi-function gauges including; digital speedometer, odometer, thermometer, clock, and tachometer; windshield, rear-view mirrors, passenger seat and foot pegs, fairing savers, and 4.75-gallon fuel tank. This bike is in excellent overall condition with minimal wear and 8600 miles. There are minor cosmetic scuffs/scratches on several plastic panels (see pics/video). Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP
Fri, 23 Aug 2013Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.
