This is the cleanest, nicest R1 on Ebay. My ex-wife used to own it, but it had to be given to me as part of a settlement. She is in a bike club and has ridden this bike on many long rides w/ all regular maintenance. I have no use for the bike...and my son prefers his Suzuki. Bike runs like a dream. recent oil change/ tune-up/valve adj check(all within specs). tires are 75% . no scratches or dings or dents. never been layed down.. always garaged. bike has 23k highway babied miles. excellent Cond yamaha. 1973 Yamaha TZ750 Works Prototype #409-100001 Up For Auction
Fri, 27 Dec 2013For just $120,000, you too can be the owner of a special piece of motorcycling history. Up for grabs on eBay is the 1973 Yamaha TZ750 that started it all. Claimed by the current owner to be the test mule of none other than Kel Carruthers in 1973, this TZ carries the number #409-100001. Yamaha Works GP rider Sadeo Asami cared for the motorcycle for much of its racing life until it was returned to Yamaha USA where it was destined for the crusher.
2014 AMA Supercross – Seattle Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Salt Lake City Results
Tue, 01 May 2012Ryan Dungey returned to the top of the podium for the first time since late February with a victory at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With the injured Ryan Villopoto already crowned the 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, the win put Dungey back in contention for second overall. The Red Bull KTM last tasted victory Feb.
