You are looking at used in mint condition 2005 YAMAHA YZF R6 I'm the second owner. Bike was never dropped. Always garaged. Never in rain. Never stunned. It has 14,500 miles and going. I'm still using it to commute. Mechanically doesn't need anything. Recently replaced: - oil change synthetic (every 3,000 miles) - new chain and front, rear sprockets - new front and rear bearings - spark plugs - coolant - tires are year old It has few small, tasteful upgrades: - shorty brake and clutch shifters - usb socket - RAM cell phone holder - red LED under light with on/off switch - PUIG light smoke windshield - integrated brake/turn signal rear LED light - flash mount front LED turn light Both turn lights are with resistors. Highlights include the hard-fought duel between Hayes and Young at Mid-Ohio, Hayes and Tommy Hayden swapping the lead on the final lap at Laguna Seca and the title-clinching finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
