Body work is off a 2000 Yamaha R6. These plastics will fit 1998-2002. The graphics patterns changed between the years. Side Upper fairings (BOTH sides) including directionals, lowers, and front fender (black) Body work was taken off my bike after only 200 miles and hung from rafters in garage. Bike has been sold with race plastics and these now need a new home. Plastics are in prestine condition. Bodywork can be boxed up and shipped if necessary. This can be discussed after final bidding and agreements can be arranged. Winning bidder will be responsible for any shipping and packaging costs that might be incurred. Yamaha Reports 2011 Results
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.

Fri, 27 Jul 2012Back in 2009, Yamaha released an entertaining video featuring MotoGP racers Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Colin Edwards and James Toseland working on various mundane jobs at Yamaha Motor USA headquarters. Three years later, Yamaha has released a follow-up featuring its current MotoGP lineup of Lorenzo, Ben Spies, Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso (with King Kenny Roberts lunchbox in tow). Tech3 Yamaha racer Crutchlow takes over his predecessor Edwards’ spot as a Yamaha security guard, but throws his own British spin on the job.
