For sale is a well maintained adult owned 1999 Yamaha YZF-R1. Very legendary bike. Has 24,000 babied miles, runs PERFECT, and has absolutely zero issues. Has fender eleminator which was paint matched along with flush mount turn signals and has white frame sliders. Also has a GYT-R slip on which sounds amazing. The bike is extremely fast and is turn key ready. It's mostly stock except for the fender eliminator, turn signals, and exhaust. Everything was tastefully done and it has the original look. You WILL NOT find another R1 thats this clean and tastefully done where it looks like it came from storage from 1999. Does have a few imperfections on paint but you'd have to look closely to see it. Has new tires, new front brakes, a new gold chain, and I flushed out the brake fluids early this season and put in new fluid. Included is a helmet, front and rear pit bull stands, and a extra key. Pro Racing Heading To The West Coast After All

A Pro-Am style, three-round professional motorcycle racing series is set to debut in 2014, run in conjunction with AFM, America’s oldest club racing organization. This according to a press release from Sonoma Raceway, which will also be hosting the first stop of the three-round series, May 3-4. Hosted and sanctioned by AFM, a full field of Pro Superbike and Pro Sportbike professional riders and teams are expected to compete in the event.

Off-road capability isn’t the first thing people consider when shopping for a scooter but it is one of the more surprising traits of the Yamaha Zuma 125. In his review of the Zuma 125, Tom Roderick says the scooter “radiates a more adventurous attitude” than most scooters, with its knobby tires and hand guards making it capable for the odd excursion off the pavement. But if you’re still not convinced, Yamaha‘s Taiwanese arm has released a video featuring the Zuma 125 (or BWS 125, as it is known internationally) getting rough and rugged in the dirt.

2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies

Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
