Looks, runs, handles, and sounds great (was an award winner and was pictured in an old M/C mag.). Awesome custom engineered front brake set-up with SS lines. Seat professionally upholstered on a stock seat pan so it "flips" open with the stock key latch. Commando exhaust Set-back pegs and controls Fork brace 4 gallon gas tank H4 headlight conversion Hi-perf. oil cooler and filter Recent oil change (Amzoil) New glass-mat battery New tires Includes: excellent original seat and tank all original "take-off" parts electronic ignition (never installed) Bike shows some age, but is very nice for being 38 years old. Yamaha Unveils 2012 MotoGP Livery – Massive Gallery and Video
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Yamaha has pulled the covers off the 2012 edition of its YZR-M1, the machines which racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will ride to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. While last year’s M1 was predominantly blue, the new 1000cc version of the M1 sports more white paint with wide bands of Yamaha blue on the front fairing and along the side, flowing along the line of the seat. Like most MotoGP squads, Yamaha doesn’t want to be too specific about its MotoGP bike’s potential, estimating the power output from the crossplane crankshaft engine at over 240 hp.

2014 AMA Supercross – Detroit Results
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.
