Yamaha Virago description

Nice Virago 750 in good condition that runs great, just cleaned carbs, new NGK plugs and oil change, replaced fuel line...She's running like a top! These are great bikes that run forever and have a huge following so if you ever sell you will get your money back or even make a few dollaros! Great handling and loads of torque along with great style are the reason these bikes are so popular. Bike is running great, shifts correct and has smooth power, no leaks, no strange engine noise. Cosmetically not perfect but still looks respectable...chrome is nice and shines up good with little corrosion...Paint is good, fenders have a little fade, tank looks good, no dents or damage, paint looks good....seat has a few repairs (see photos)....brakes are good, tires have tread but are starting to show age....a few scratches on the exhaust and ball is broken on front brakes handle...everything functions as it should and the bike is running top notch! ...$500 down at auction's end with balance due within seven days...I will accept a check of any kind but it must clear in my account before I release possession of the bike and title...Good Luck!

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

Behind the scenes in Qatar

Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.

When it comes to improving the performance of a motorcycle’s weakest link, Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill have taken on an enormous task. You see, this link is always changing and never constant, but can be molded and improved. It’s not a motorcycle at all.
