Yamaha Virago description

This is a 1981 Yamaha Virago that is probably good for parts only. The bike is mostly complete. Although it ran roughly, it did run 3 years ago when it was parked. Best guess for roughness was carboration issues. There is no title so it will be sold with bil of sale only. The bike is probably not worth enough to justify shipping expense so it is for local pickup only in Alpharetta Ga. 30004.

Good Luck and thanks for looking.

Ryan Villopoto picked up where he left off while Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross podium as the season kicked off in Anaheim, Calif. Reigning champion and Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Villopoto took the holeshot and led all 20 laps to win the Anaheim I season opener by over 12 seconds ahead of Chad Reed‘s TwoTwo Motorsports Honda. “Villopoto made us look silly out here tonight,” says Reed.

Rossi 'training' at his MotoRanch

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

Like Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi has got his own ranch where he has built his own private motocross track and dirt oval. The above YouTube video shows Rossi training on the flat-track circuit that makes up his 'MotoRanch' located near his home town of Tavullia. He's shown riding a Yamaha, but that's probably because Ducati don't have themselves a scrambler.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
