This bike is in terrific condition, No road rash or major dents and dings. Runs well and has a relatively new battery. Starts every time and lives up to the VMAX reputation. It has Supertrap After Market Exhaust Pipes, and I will also come with the original pipes not shown. I believe a jet kit has been installed as I was given a box with some of the old jets when I purchased the bike. The bike has a Spitfire Windshield and good rubber on the front. It will need a rear tire in the near future. The bikes Kelly Blue Book Value is between $5115 and $3520, and is now priced below min. There is no shipping unless you want to arrange for it after full payment has been made. New Photos and Video of Yamaha PES1 Electric Concept
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Yamaha has released additional images and a video of its new PES1 electric motorcycle for the concept’s debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. The new photographs, shot at Yamaha’s display at the Tokyo show, show more details about the PES1 concept, which Yamaha first announced earlier this month. The PES1 shares the same electric DC brushless motor, lithium-ion battery and monocoque frame as the PED1 concept which also took its bow in Tokyo.
Ben Spies Video Interview on 2012 MotoGP Season [Video]
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Yamaha Factory Racing today posted on its YouTube page a video interview with Ben “Elbowz” Spies, in which Spies discusses the soon to start 2012 season of MotoGP. In his usual calm, cool and under control manner Spies speaks frankly on how he prefers the 1000cc GP machine, saying it suits his style (elbows out!) better than the previous seasons’ 800cc bikes because the extra torque and horsepower of the liter-class bikes are, essentially, better matched to his physical stature. Spies also answers honestly the question of who he thinks he needs to keep an eye in 2012, including his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo.

Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
