f.m 1960 this is the 1st bike i ever restored. i did it on my back porch with alot of elbow grease and time. this bike runs well. i mean GREAT!! if you are familiar with the "11 special" then you know this bike is strong and fast. the seat was cut and altered by me because i didnt like the original seat. ive also changed the rear turn signals and brake light.if you are interested i am showing this bike tuesday, wednesday and thursday at the shop where i work. im asking 3000 or best offer and i want to sell it this week.All American Customs is at the corner of f.m1960 and perry rd. in Houston.if you have cash in hand you can test drive the bike. i will put additional pictures up here soon.11950 perry rd. shane

2014 Yamaha MT-125 Announced for Europe

Yamaha has added a new 125cc model to its suddenly burgeoning MT series of naked streetbikes in the European market. The 2014 Yamaha MT-125 joins the MT-07, the MT-09 and the MT-09 Street Rally, all of which were introduced in the last year. Unfortunately for the moment only the MT-09 has been announced for the U.S.

Yamaha to Cut Motorcycle Production in 2009

With mounting inventories coupled with a drop in demand, Yamaha will be cutting its motorcycle production in Japan by 24 percent this year or to about 260,000 total units; one newspaper reported this would be a 40-year low for the manufacture. Yamaha plans to cut production for motorcycles and other products by 30 percent in the Americas, 20 percent in Europe but will maintain production levels in Asia where demand has not dropped off. The company is forecasting its group sales to fall 22 percent with an operating loss of about $300 million.

2011 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike Champion Josh Hayes

Josh Hayes has won his second consecutive AMA Superbike title, clinching the championship in a tightly contested Race One at the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The lead changed hands several times before Hayes emerged with the win, his third of the season. The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 rider was consistent all season, finishing with three wins and 12 podium finishes in 14 races, and finishing fourth in the two times he missed the podium.
