2007 Suzuki Dr-Z 400SM, 2007 DRZ400sm, 10k miles. Lots of aftermarket parts; Full FMF exhaust, FMF jet kit, Trail tech speedo, Cycra hand guards, Motion pro brake line, Trail tech dual sport headlight.... Overall the bike is in great shape. The plastics have a few scuffs and scratches from a couple of trail rides (with different tires), but it was used mainly on the the road. Tires are still in good shape. Asking $3700 obo. If it doesn't sell quickly, a new plastics kit and a few other odds and ends will be replaced and the price will be raised. AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

Interesting then, that despite a seeming glut in the cruiser supply, and receding sales figures from major OEMs in the past year, that new cruiser models keep coming.

Mon, 06 Sep 2010It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.
