Suzuki DR-Z description

Very clean 2003 DRZ125. Bike was ridden by my daughter and is in great shape. Other than a missing spoke in the rear rim and slightly bent handlebars, the bike is perfect mechanically and very clean cosmetically. This is the perfect bike for ladies and smaller people! Has a Pro Circuit pipe and silencer, acerbis hand guards and also a BBR spring kit that is installed. Stock springs come with bike. Other than that the bike is stock and runs great. I just changed the oil and installed a K & N oil filter. Factory Travis Prastrana graphics look nice on this bike. Payment is cash or bank check only. Serious inquiries only call me at 574.273.2520 and ask for Pat.  I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as the bike is also for sale locally.

Thanks!

Kevin Schwantz Once Again Wearing RS Taichi

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

It’s official – Kevin Schwantz will return to his early years of wearing RS Taichi. While Schwantz wore RS Taichi gear during several of his memorable seasons in the 500cc class, his partnership and success with Taichi apparel all started with his victory at the 1988 Daytona 200. And now that Schwantz and the Circuit of the Americas have settled their differences, the 1993 world champ took to the track in RS Taichi leathers again for the first time recently at the Circuit of The Americas media day, as newly appointed motorcycle ambassador for the circuit.

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Mon, 05 Sep 2011

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.

John Hopkins Ready for Comeback

Sat, 08 Feb 2014

When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
