Up for sale is my 1997 Suzuki TL1000s sportsbike.
I've owned this bike for almost 4 years and would mostly use it while I would do work in the bay area. The TL1000s is in GREAT CONDITION, EVERYTHING WORKS and only has 25,389 miles. Clutch has been replaced 2 years ago. Has upgraded 6 piston front brake calipers. Battery is less than 7 months old. Tires have 80-70% tread on them. The sale includes: - Arai helmet - AGV helmet - Front and Rear bike stands. - New bike cover - Rear seat - K&N Air Filter TL1000s runs great and has NO engine issues. Idles smoothly, very docile around town, sounds awesome, gets good fuel mileage. Bike has been garage-kept. Battery was replaced last year and fluids have been topped off. It will need an oil and filter change in about 800 miles. The bike performs flawlessly and is a VERY well-sorted, well-maintained bike. Have any questions, send me a message. Fri, 04 May 2012McCarthy’s wit isn’t as quick as his motorcycle. “A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.” (Proverbs 12:23 KJV) According to reports, New York State Police arrested Nikkolaus McCarthy, 25, of Charlton, N.Y., this past Wednesday afternoon after he was “clocked” riding his motorcycle at 166 mph on the New York State Thruway in Ravena, N.Y. But it seems McCarthy needs to learn the simple concept of avoiding self-incrimination.
Suzuki Reports Q2 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 15 Nov 2011Suzuki reported its second consecutive profitable quarter from its motorcycle division, following 11 consecutive quarters in the red. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011, Suzuki raked in 62.3 billion yen (US$808.5 million) from motorcycle sales, compared to the 61.4 billion yen (US$796.8 billion) reported in the same period last year.

Tue, 31 May 2011Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
