Suzuki RM description

Needs restoration, but mostly there and complete...Has a new piston and rings-previous owner put them in and did not put pipe on yet, so i looked up exhaust port and it was indeed bright and shiny new piston with no scuff marks whatsoever..With that said I have not been able to start bike...hit it with some carb cleaner in airbox and it fired, but has not run for any amount of time...just a couple seconds, so I am pretty sure the spark is good, may need carb cleaned, crank seals?....has no cracks in frame or aluminum swingarm, or wheels, fork tubes are rusty between triple clamps, but I dont think so in seal travel area...pics show a like 79 or 80 tank, but it does not have that anymore as it cracked..I just bought a good used 78 rm400 tank and it is on there now...like it is supposed to be...throttle tube is broken, needs new one...like I say good candidate for restoration, located in san antonio texas   no title, dirt bikes in texas did not have titles before 1996

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Knee-high land-speed record device

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.
