Suzuki Other description

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
1972 T500  T500J   FULLY RESTORED!
when we say fully restored we  mean full restored   thats inside and out
look at the detailed pictures  you can see this is show quality
what we do  is completely tear down a original bike , every item will be replated, replaced with nos parts, powdercoated, show chromed, show painted  and properly machined

lets start with the engine, you cannot see inside so ill tell you what was done
the cylinder was sent to Dave at A&M Machine     he has been boring 2 stroke cylinders since the late 60"s
his work is perfect! although it was on stock bore , the recommendation was to go to 1st over which he did, at the same time all parting is cleaned up to factory specs.....and finally a show quality bead blast for that uniform new look
at the same time we had Dave give the engine case halves a beading    again for that show qualty look
the transmission was fully inspected ( no issues like new )   the crank was rebuilt by crankmaster    nos seals and lower bearing....the clutch and clutch springs were replaced with nos suzuki parts    the engine covers  were professionally buffed and polished ....and the pistons and rings are brand new Suzuki
all gaskets and motor seals are brand new nos ......all screws are genuine Suzuki nos .....not the cheap Chinese screws  from a big box store!       so the heart of this beauty will be beating along time

Rainy BSB tests are nothing new

Mon, 25 Mar 2013

THE combination of bad weather in the UK and a European testing ban means that most BSB teams will now start the season with very little track time. This sounds like a disaster for the top teams but history has proved this isn’t necessarily true and it sometimes doesn’t matter how much pre season preparation has taken place.  Back in 2002 Sean Emmett won on the IFC Ducati at the opening Silverstone round after first riding it in unofficial practice the same weekend. Steve Hislop took the other win on Pauls Bird’s well sorted Ducati. More recently in 2009, Leon Camier took an untested new model R1 Yamaha to victory at the Brands Hatch opener after GSE took delivery of the bike just the week before. Sylvain Guintoli won the other race on a well developed, well tested Crescent Suzuki. You could argue if no one has had testing then it is a level playing field but you have to feel for riders moving up to the superbike class in the world’s toughest national series.  Tyco Suzuki’s PJ Jacobson is one such rider but having spent some time with him over the past few weeks he seems to be taking it all in his stride. It may be the confidence of youth or maybe the fact he has won in every other class he has entered in his short BSB career, but I suspect he fancies at least standing on the Superbike podium at Brands (He also does a bit of ice racing which is not dissimilar to the this year’s UK testing).  The testing ban was implemented with all the best cost cutting intentions and if it had been any other year in the past decade all would be well. The teams may be feeling frustrated but the fans should be excited. With so many unknowns, the 2013 BSB opener at Brands Hatch could be the best ever!

2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Intro

Fri, 04 Nov 2011

Suzuki invited a select group of moto-jounalists to the Blue Ridge Mountains this week to sample the 2012 V-Stom 650 ABS. The mildly reworked mid-size adventure-tourer proved itself to be an upgraded version of the popular original model. During the two-day test we rode paved two-lane byways and a few dirt road segments.

Isle of Man TT 2013: PokerStars Senior TT Race Results

Fri, 07 Jun 2013

For a while there, it looked as if John McGuinness would be held off the top podium position through the entire 2013 Isle of Man TT. McGuinness had recorded third-place finishes at the Superbike, Superstock and the second Supersport TT races earlier in the week, but the active leader in Isle of Man TT wins was stuck at 19 wins all week. That finally changed and the Honda TT Legends racer finally earned win #20 in the final race of this year’s event, the Senior TT.
