Hello everyone, Powersports of Palm Beach is proud of offer this one of a kind 2009 Suzuki Turbo Hayabusa. There is a ton of custom work done to this vehicle. Please call us for any info, Five Six One 8442102. This Bike was built by Exotic Cycles in Sarasota Florida. Tuned by Jonny Turbo himself. If you have any questions on the motor / turbo part of the build please give him a call at his shop. This bike is fully chromed out. As you can see in the pics this is a classy built bike. It is built well with no problems or issues by professional builders. Not some guys in there back yard. We at PS have been taking care of this unit for over a year now and the owner is very is very meticulous and so are we. It has a stage 2 turbo kit with all the best parts. RC Components 300mm fat tire kit w/ inboard rear brake set up. Custom wheels and a bunch of chrome, Custom painted, Scorpio alarm and a LED light kit. 1974: Onboard an MV racer with Phil Read
Fri, 19 Feb 2010ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.
Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory
Tue, 06 Nov 2012The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.
Kevin Schwantz Tests Suzuki MotoGP Bike at COTA
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Former World Champion and Texas native Kevin Schwantz joined the Suzuki MotoGP team at Circuit of the Americas to test its new racebike. Schwantz, who won the 1993 500cc World Championship with Suzuki, joined test riders Randy de Puniet and Nobuastu Aoki in riding the new prototype which is set to enter the MotoGP championship in 2015. Our own Troy Siahaan was in Austin for the MotoGP round and he was on hand to film this clip of Schwantz preparing for his ride: Post by Motorcycle.com.
