Adult owned and appreciated, this bike looks and runs as good as the day it was made. Collectible value as the first year Unrestricted Hayabusa, own a piece of sport bike history. Made before factory speed limiter, 220+ mph if you dare. All stock except for the baritone Yoshimura 4 into 1 exhaust, polished frame. Brand new battery, fresh tires, no issues. John Hopkins Returning to British Superbike Racing

American racer John Hopkins is ready to make his comeback after taking the entire 2013 racing season off to recover from a number of injuries. The Ramona, Calif., native will make his return in the British Superbike Championship, racing for Tyco Suzuki on the TAS Racing GSX-R1000. Hopkins last raced in the series in 2011, finishing second overall in the championship that was decided in the final race when Hopkins finished 0.006 seconds behind the champion Tommy Hill.

I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.

This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
