Suzuki GT750 description

For Your Consideration:

Original 1972 Suzuki GT750 Water Cooled 750 Three Cylinder Two-Stroke Offered for sale.

Bike has been through a two year restoration. Frame has been powder coated, correct seat cover replaced. New tires, new paint, new emblems, carbs rebuilt, and new points & condensers, new sealed battery, just to name a few. Previous owner had crankshaft rebuilt but with only 16K original miles, it was left on original bore. The GT750's were good for 50K miles with each rebore. This Suzuki has always been well cared for and has never been dropped.

This is a well sorted, excellent running GT750. It is original down to the one year only rechromed fuel cap and one year only radiator door. Most of the chrome is original and excellent. It is dependable, starts right up, shifts very good, and runs out like a GT750 should. You will like the power, it's a beautiful bike that draws attention from everyone.

If you are a collector, don't miss this one, they don't get more original than this. The Water Buffalo was the best touring bike available in 1972.

I have set a fair reserve price, call with any questions you may have. Check the pictures, this is the real McCoy.

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer however I will assist your shipper all I can. A  $300 non-refundable deposit is required within 5 days of auction end. Balance due within 10 days.

I can hold the bike as long as needed for your shipper to pick up. It has a current antique Florida tag and a clear Florida Title could easily be driven home.

No warranty is implied as this is a 44 year old bike. 407 323-3597

Months of rumors and a more credible report yesterday have culminated in the official news that Volkswagen will take a 20 percent share in Japanese automaker Suzuki, worth $2.5 billion. The news comes just a day after VW officially took a 49.9 percent stake in Porsche.

Suzuki Reports 2011-2012 Results

Thu, 10 May 2012

Suzuki declared a loss of 2.4 billion yen (US$30.0 million) from its motorcycle division over the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012. Though still a loss, it’s an improvement on the loss of 10.8 billion yen reported the previous year. Suzuki attributes the loss to an appreciating yen and the financial impact from heavy flooding in Thailand.

Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).
