This auction is for a 1991 Suzuki GSXR 750. Stored for years, this bike was in heat controlled storage with race fuel in it and master cylinders drained so it started up as soon as a new battery was installed. Odometer says 5300K miles but title says unknown. I would not be surprised if it does have 5300 because the engine and bike look mint and spotless. Clean title in hand. The swing arm is stretched 9 inches. Optional upgraded rear racing seat cowl. New Chain and sprockets. Performance machine chicane billet wheels that were $1600 for the set!! Very nice Dunlop Sport Max tires. New wave rotors. TL 1000 front calipers. New Front master. New K&N filters. Yoshamura cams. D&D complete exhaust. Power commander 4 stage ignition. Also comes with original 2-up seat.This bike is in like new condition and has been meticulously cared for and upgraded. It runs great and has been tuned up and ready to ride. The plastics are all intact and it has a really nice purple paint job. A STEAL for the right GSXR enthusiast. I am only selling because I am moving and selling all my motorcycles. AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
First Laps of the 2015 Suzuki MotoGP Racer
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Suzuki put its new prototype race bike through its first test laps alongside other MotoGP racers in preparation for its impending return to racing in the 2015 season. Test rider Nobuatsu Aoki, who had been playing a key role in the racebike’s development, took the new Suzuki 1000cc Inline-Four prototype out for a few shakedown laps before handing things over to Randy de Puniet who completed the bulk of the testing at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. After a day of testing, de Puniet put up the eighth-best lap time, clocking in at 1:42.676, just 0.772 seconds behind Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo who had the top lap time among all participants. It’s important to note however that Repsol Honda and series leader Dani Pedrosa did not participate in this test.
Yoshimura Suzuki Signs Roger Hayden for 2014 AMA Superbike Championship
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Roger Hayden has signed on to race the 2014 AMA Superbike season for Yoshimura Suzuki, joining the returning Martin Cardenas and Chris Clark. Hayden spent the last few seasons with the Jordan Suzuki satellite team, finishing fourth overall in 2013 and third in 2012. The 2012 season also saw Hayden earn his only career AMA Superbike victory.
