This local trade just in... being near Nashville we get some celebrities in from time to time. This adventure bike was trade from Country Music singer Wade Hayes. The bike is a 2012 Suzuki DL 1000 V-Strom. I put about 100 miles on the bike and it performs flawlessly, lots of power comfort and storage. The black finish on the bike is in excellant condition. The saddle bags have been off and on laying around the garage and have been scuffed up from hanging really wide on the bike. The 1000cc water cooled engine runs really well with lots of power, the 6 speed transmission shifts very smooth with no issues. With such low miles the tires are also in excellant condition. Land Speed Record Holder Bill Warner Dies Chasing 300 MPH Record
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Land speed motorcycle racer Bill Warner succumbed to injuries suffered in a 285 mph crash at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. The 44-year-old from Wimauma, Fla., reportedly lost control of his modified turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa while attempting to reach a speed of 300 mph. Warner reportedly began veering to his right during one high-speed run on the base’s runway after clocking 285 mph.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Dainese Superbike TT Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won a historic Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2014 Isle of Man TT week. Riding the S1000RR, Dunlop secured BMW its first win on the Isle of Man since Georg Meier won on a Type 255 Kompressor in 1939. After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.
