Other Plonker description

VERY RARE!!!! - Unrestored Original Survivor!!! - 1968 OSSA Plonker - 230cc - 4 Speed - Frame # B-270155 and Motor # M-270155 - I purchased this bike 18 years ago in Texas from the original owner in 100% original "bone stock" condition - I have since replaced the following parts: the tires with new IRC Winter Radial Trials tires; the rear shocks with new Hagon shocks; the leaking fuel petcocks with new replacements; the fork seals with Leak Proof seals; the OSSA gas tank emblems with new repros; the kickstart and shift lever rubber with NOS parts and the handlebar grips with non original grips - Included in the sale is the original OSSA Tool Pouch with 3 of the original tools, the original Rear Shocks and Fuel Petcocks along with an extra reupholstered seat, that I used for riding, to preserve the Mint Original Pleated Seat from damage - The original Green and Yellow paint is still very shiny with some light scratches and small chips here and there - The rear fender has 3 holes from where originally the tail light would have been mounted - The front fender has a larger 3/4" chip that is shown in the one photo - The leak-free Gas Tank has never had Ethanol fuel used in it and it has never needed to be sealed! - The exhaust Header Pipe and Expansion Chamber have no dents, but the rear Chrome Silencer has a light scrape on the top - The original chrome on the handlebars and hand levers is very good - The bike had sat in my collection for the last 15 years, but with a quick carb cleaning and some fresh Ethanol-Free Premium fuel, it started on the FIRST KICK and ran as good as the last trials I rode it in at Mid Ohio in 1998!!! - The clutch plates have stuck together from sitting and may need disassembled to free up or they may free up once ridden and warmed up enough? - The last early 4 speed Plonker I saw on Ebay was about 5 years ago and it sold for $6,700 (quite a bit more than my reserve) and was not even close to being as original and complete as this bike!!! - So here's your chance!!! - Since the bike was not street legal, I do not have a Title for the bike and it will be sold with a Bill of Sale - I can help with delivery to a Depot for shipping for a fee within reasonable distance - A $500 Paypal Deposit is required within 48 hours of end of auction and full payment in cash, check or cashiers check within 7 days - Please feel free to call me with any questions at 717-529-1162 after 4pm EST or Sunday and Monday anytime - Thank You, Scott
