Kawasaki Other description

Very rare 1976 Kawasaki KT250A2 in original running condition. Has 442 miles showing on the speedometer.

I got this motorcycle from a friend that says it was stored for many years.

We recently cleaned the carburetor, changed the transmission oil, lubed the cable and put air in the tires
To our surprise the motorcycle fired right up and runs good. Headlight and taillight work again to our surprise. Brakes work, clutch works, cables in good condition and has the original chain and sprockets in good condition. The motorcycle is going to need tires because these are the originals and are dry rotted.
I believe THE STATE OF FLORIDA DID NOT ISSUE TITLES FOR OFFROAD MOTORCYCLES IN THESE YEARS, SO I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE.
Also have a shop manual that goes with the motorcycle.
I have left the motorcycle in it original condition except for a pair of grips, so the next owner can restore it as he sees fit.
My reserve is $800.00, so good luck.
It's a motorcycle that is all there.

The buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of the motorcycle. Non refundable deposit of $300.00 is required within 24 hours. Payment for the balance must be made within 3 days by cash, cashiers check or bank transfer. No exception.

WSBK: 2012 Misano Results – Video

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.

Left Side Story: A Double-Amputee Keeps His Racing Dreams Alive – Video

Thu, 11 Oct 2012

Australian rider Alan Kempster lost his right arm and leg in 1990 when an intoxicated truck driver crashed into his motorcycle. The accident changed Kempster’s life, but what it did not do was dampen his spirit and his love of racing. The determined Kempster rigged a racebike and returned to the track, not only competing against abled riders, but also winning.

ZX-10R inspired by JPS Lotus?

Tue, 10 Jul 2012

Spotted on Kawasaki's Facebook page, this 'Limited Edition' ZX-10R has been created by none other than double-F1 World Champ Emerson Fittipaldi, who is - amongst other things - a Kawasaki dealer in Brazil and who also happened to win his first World Championship in 1972 in a JPS Lotus that had a very similar colour scheme. Fittipaldi started his motorsport career on a motorcycle, aged just 14, before heading to hydrofoils (surely no-one else at world level has ever raced these?!) and then the more traditional route of karting. Question is: what do you think to the paintjob?
