It is a numbers matching bike. Super low mileage of 2,738 mis and the bike shows it. It starts the 1st time every time and it runs and shifts through all gears almost perfectly. Here's your chance to get a basically all original piece of Kawasaki history. You will not be disappointed with this 47yr old historic collector bike. Has the original seat cover with a few defects. Inside the gas tank is almost as clean as new. As you can see from the photos all the stickers are intact including the "Murphy's Jeep & Marine" in "Stetsonville, Wisconsin" which we are assuming sold the bike new. Perfect as a rider as is or a perfect candidate for a restoration. A beautiful addition to any motorcycle collection. They are only original once and this 1 is it!! Tue, 22 May 2012British Superbike race team Bournemouth Kawasaki and electric powertrain maker Zytek Automotive will compete in the 2012 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an electric ZX-10R with support from Kawasaki UK. The Zytek-Kawasaki ZX10ev uses the chassis of a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and an oil-cooled Zytek permanent magnet electric motor. Zytek is a race-proven electric powertrain supplier, though its expertise is primarily with cars.

Mon, 14 May 2012BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
