Kawasaki Other description

This bike is very clean and runs perfect.  It has the factory warranty until 7/28/14.

Bike has had 7,500 mile service done and has new Bridgestone BT-023 tires put on it. Currently the bike has just over 11k miles on it.

Here are the extras,
  • RAM x-grip holder(for cell phone or gps)
  • GIVI quick release tank bag
  • GIVI Maxia 33 55L top case ( w/ foam liner kit, brake light kit, inner bag liner and back rest, all are GIVI accessories).
  • Throttlemeister throttle lock
  • Cee Bailey's saddle bag liners
  • Muph's Kits KB bar risers and  handle bar wedges
  • Muzzy 3/4" risers
  • Muzzy Lowering Links
  • factory service manual.
The KB risers and bar wedges are not on the bike at the moment. I have Muzzy 3/4" risers on the bike.  The previous owner put Muzzy lowering links on as he was very short. I left them on for the time being.  The stock links go with the bike, too.
The bike is awesome and is ready to ride.  I am moving into temporary housing and I don't wish to take the bike with me.
The bike had a few minor scratches to the middle right fairing from the garage, but I had them repaired.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

Kawasaki KLR650 Returning For 2015

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

One of Kawasaki’s most popular sellers, the go-anywhere, do-anything KLR650 will once again be a staple of Kawasaki’s 2015 lineup. Preferring to run on either dirt or asphalt, the dual-purpose bike is very versatile, able to take riders almost anywhere they wish to go on- and off-road. The 651cc Single may not be the most inspiring engine in the world, but it gets the job done.

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.
